Revisiting
2022-2023-continuous

The project presented this time , originated from the project , it leads to another perspective, and
I will continue to explore the possibility of extending this perspective.

For the past Nine years ( 2014 – 2023 – future ) of the project < Day by Day >, I have covered the same canvas with water day after day. The canvas goes from blank to gradually blotchy.

From scratch, it is obvious. However, in recent years, the spots on the canvas have shown a relatively stable state, and they no longer undergo perceptible changes. Fascinated by this change without change, I began to try to observe and record, wait and capture, this decisive moment of subtle changes that cannot even be discerned by the naked eye.

For a year, while continuing to cover the canvas with water, I tried to scan the canvas and take a picture every day as much as possible. Each picture here is also accompanied by an independent time ID.

I randomly selected the same spot from the spot group in the picture, and observed and recorded it at two time points spanning a year. In the end, I chose to show the enlarged and juxtaposed results of the same point from different times. Between these
two time points, what is displayed is the process of them walking towards each other, that is, every subtle change and record in every day of the year.

Day after day, I traveled through time and space to return to the original point and first visit the old place, revisit the new place.
